Shops for Julianstown.

Julianstown Inn Planning

On July 29th a planning application was lodged with Meath County Council for a mixed retail/residential in the car park of the Julianstown Inn. It is proposed to extend the line of the village facing onto the road with shops and appartments. The application is in the name of Ashetown Inns the company which operates the local pub.

There will be access through an archway to car parking at the rear of the development. It is about time that Julianstown got some shops as the population is propsed to expand to at least 1000 over the next 6 years. The application can be viewed at County Council offices in Duleek. There are five weeks for members of the public to make observations and the decision is due September 29th
