Drogheda IndependentIs it just me or has anyone else noticed that the Drogheda Independent has been lifting the odd story from Julianstown.Com.
Stories such as the lawnmower theft, School Garden and the Gormanstown speed camera have all been copied almost verbatim from this site. On the one hand I am flattered that such a widely consulted organ such as the DI sees fit to rely on Julianstown.Com for local news. But on the other hand they are doing without acknowledging the source.
A letter reminding the DI Editor of the laws of copyright has been issued

Yes indeed but just wait until they publish the story about the Alien Spacecraft that landed beside the church.
