Residents Association Raises €2K

The Julianstown and District Residents Association would like to thank all those in the local area who kindly contributed to our recent collection. €1,854 was raised. This amount will be added to the prize money of €2,500 received from the Pride of Place Awards in November (Details: 1st place in the population (500-1500) category, receiving a beautiful Newgrange crystal trophy and a cheque for €1,500. Plus a Judge’s Special Achievement Award, being a crystal vase and a cheque for €1,000.)

These funds will now be used to achieve improvements to and enhance the Julianstown area and community, including incorporating as many of your suggestions as possible.

Finally, the committee would like to wish everyone a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
